Taking to the water in a high speed craft can be a hazardous activity. Thames Tigers take the safety of our customers, staff and others very seriously.

 

Like all operators on the Thames, our boats are very well maintained and equipped with all necessary safety equipment. The Marine Coastguard Agency(MCA) and Port of London Authority(PLA) have inspected and certified our vessels and regularly inspect them to ensure they meet the highest safety standards.

 

Our crew are very well trained and experienced; they regularly practice dealing with emergencies, so that they’ll be ready should the unexpected happen.

 

Before you board you’ll be given an automatic inflating lifejacket and shown how to use it.

THAMES TIGERS ARE DIFFERENT: Travelling at speed on the water exposes passengers to the very real risk of injury through shock and vibration. Shock impacts travel through the seat and can injure a passenger’s spine when the vessel hits a wave.
